Toastmasters Program

The Toastmasters Education Program has two aims: (1) to help members become more effective communicators, and (2) better leaders.

Toastmasters International is making some exciting changes in its educational system and award designations. In January 2006, new leadership award programs were introduced and educational awards were renamed in order to distinguish between speech programs and leadership programs.

You can read more about these changes by visiting the official TI website.

NOTE:   Below are the older requirements regarding the Toastmasters Educational Program.  We have left this information posted since there is an overlap period for members still working on these goals.  If you are a member currently working on one of the projects below, visit the Toastmasters International website to see how you can transition your progress to the new program.

*These are the requirements for programs before the January 2006 revisions.

Each member is responsible for setting and achieving his or her own individual goals. The program is divided into two tracks. The chart below summarizes the milestones on the tracks to achieving the rank of "Distinguished Toastmaster."
