District 12 has its first new club of 2005 - 2006. The SOARING EAGLES, a company club located at THE FIRST AMERICAN TITLE COMPANY in San Bernardino, California.
This was truly a team effort. Pat Hennessey, ATMG provided the lead. Then Chieko Keagy,DTM, DG; Scott McGookin,DTM, LGET; Richard Snyder,DTM and Don Tungate,DTM, LGM met with the Corporate Officers at the location and a Demo meeting was scheduled.
At the Demo meeting Don Tungate,DTM, LGM was the Toastmaster, Tina Twing, DTM did Table Topics, Scott McGookin,DTM,LGET was the speaker and David Morris was the evaluator.
A second demo was scheduled and Don was once again the Toastmaster, Brian Costigan, CTM of club 8396 spoke, and was evaluated by Grace Lefevre, DTM evaluated his speech. Table Topics was conducted by Pat Hennessey. The club elected officers, chose their name, and made arrangements for me to pick up the paperwork and the check today.
On Friday July 28, 2005, Richard Snyder, DTM, New Club Chair and myself will take the paperwork and the check into TI. A great job was done by all of these fine Toastmasters and our congratulations goes out to them for a job well done.
