Although its membership is limited to employees of a one company, the  members of the Toastmasters club at ESRI, the world's leading geographic information systems (GIS) software company, come from all over the world. Members' diverse backgrounds enrich meetings by providing many points of view and varied life experiences.

ESRI staff often must give presentations to other staff members and at conferences and client meetings.  Toastmappers has helped its members become more effective and confident communicators which has benefited these individuals and ESRI.

ESRI Toastmappers Club was chartered on September 30, 2004. Two experienced Toastmasters, Mike Frith and Jinwu Ma, were key organizers of the club and were important to its early success. The club meets each Wednesday during the noon hour on the ESRI Redlands campus.
