Good Day Fellow Toastmasters-
It's Official! It's Outstanding! It's Amazing!
DISTRICT 12 IS DISTINGUISHED FOR THE 2005-06 TOASTMASTER YEAR!
Many of you have seen the District 12 Website ( www.tmdistrict12.org) which since Tuesday morning
has announced that you, the members of District 12 are a Distinguished District!.
DISTRICT 12 TOASTMASTERS, YOUR SIMPLY AMAZING!
This achievement does not come easy! It is earned due to the dedication of our individual members and our dynamic Toastmasters Clubs.
For the 2005-2006 Toastmaster Year the members of District 12 achieved 74 ATM's, 163 CTM's, and had one member gain over our required number of members needed to be Distinguished!
I know everyone has heard me say "Never underestimate the power of one person?" You've heard me say it over and over. "EVERY MEMBER IS IMPORTANT." This years end of year tally of achievements supports that saying perfectly. We needed 3468 membership payments to be Distingusihed. We had 3469 membership payments on June 30th (the end of the Toastmasters Year).
EVERY MEMBER IS IMPORTANT! YOU made the difference!
What is even more important is that because of your Toastmasters involvement you are finding your voice, making excitng changes in your lives, and transforming your world!
After all, the mission of the Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which inturn foster self confidence and personal growth. By working the Toastmasters program s we find the courage to change ... and we change the world! Congratulations Distirct 12!
This achievement is particularly rewarding in that this is the third year in a row that the members of District 12 have earned this Distinction of being a Distinguished District!
Please come celebrate and hear from our THREE PAST MOST IMMEDIATE Distirct Governors, Chieko, Lois and Ruth this coming Monday evening. Join us in the private dinning room of the Denny's Resturant in Colton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 31st.
