» Food for thought on the Distinguished Club Program (DCP)
By N/A | Published 12/13/2005 | Membership Retention , Archive of Articles | Unrated

December 12, 2005 - It is my hope that you will forward this information on to your AreaGovernors as food for thought and recommend to them that maybe they communicate these issues with the club leadership within their respective areas.  The bottom line thoughout this message is that we assume to many things when it comes to our clubs and areas.  We still have time to address those issues.

Last year we had over 15 clubs that could have achieved Distinguished or better but did not due to the membership issue.  How many potential members were lost due to the fact that a club was not prepared to deal with potential members.  There is only one-first chance. We need to be prepared to take advantage of it for the good of the member and the club.

Please forward this information to any one whom you feel might benefit from it.
