The Toastmaster Vision is:  Toastmaster International empowers people to achieve their full potential and realize their dreams.  Through our member clubs, people throughout the world can improve their communication and leadership skills, to find the courage to change.

For the past four years, the members of District 12 have found many ways to fulfill the Toastmaster Vision.  To achieve the Districts Mission of enhancing the performance and extend the network of clubs, thereby offering greater numbers of people the Toastmasters educational program.  You have done this by focusing on the critical success factors, (Club Members, CC’s, and AC’s) as specified by the District educational and membership goals.  And by doing this, you have insured that your club effectively fulfills its responsibilities to all of its members, by providing effective training and leadership development opportunities for all members. 

 VISION

As District Governor my vision is to work with all the member clubs and to help them achieve Distinguished status by June 30, 2008. By doing this, we can reduce the number of low member clubs to a record low.  This will be accomplished by working together as members, Club Officers, Area Governors, Division Governors, and District Staff and to fulfill each clubs mission; to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills.  This can best be achieved by having every member become a mentor.  Every member seek out the opportunities Toastmaster offers, and demonstrate that the goals we set for new clubs, membership and educational achievements can be more easily obtained because of the excitement of the Toastmaster experience, which will be shared by all our members. 

This year our theme is.   TOASTMASTERS, SHAPING LIVES; SHARING THE VISION.

Lets share the vision and be a Distinguished District by the Region 2 conference June 7, 2008 so that we can say “Early and Often Works” “You can do it”, and “ District 12 Leads the Way”.
