The Second DEC was Saturday Sept 12th A District Executive Council (DEC) meeting was held at the Stantec Building, 22690 Cactus Ave in Moreno Valley. All Area Governors, Division Governors and District Officers were encouraged to attend, a quorum was established, and Business of the District, and voting was conducted as necessary.

The next DEC is Saturday January 9th at 9am at Stantec. 


Toastmasters Proposal A Passes! August 14, 2009

Proposal A was approved by TM members at the Annual Business Meeting held during the Toastmasters International Convention on August 14. This proposal changed the organization's structure to 14 Regions and 14 International Directors. Coming July 1st 2010, District 12 is in Region 10. See the New Regions Map! The Nominating Committee will be replaced by the International Leadership Committee in September 2009.  For more details: TM Future!

 District 12 is Distinguished for the 6th Year In a Row!

The District Trio say: "Congratulations to the District 12 Team!  We meet all the goals including clubs and members.  Thank you to all for being part of a winning team!" Brian's Club 168 - Diamond Bar Toastmasters say:  "Brian is a role model for the dedicated Toastmaster. He not only works hard to benefit from toastmaster educational program but he is also willing to help in any way he can. He encourages the new members by his down to earth personality as well inspires the veteran members by his persistence. Moreover, he brightens the Club atmosphere by his charm. He is so funny that he can tickle your funniest bone and encourages visitors to join the Club! Since he  became the Vice President of Membership, our Club witnessed a boost in membership. Brian is an exceptional member, charismatic speaker and inspiring leader last year's Outstanding Members see: OM 2007-08 Booklet

Congratulations on a Good Job in Promoting your Club by providing high quality Publics Relations!! Here's the criteria: Chuck Weck PR Award Criteria This award is achieved by accumulating the most publicity points by various media during the period from July 1 through April 1. What's the Scoop On Your TM Club?!

This questionnaire gives you a chance to evaluate your TM club. Take advantage of it for regular check-ups, and be sure to give your completed form to your club's president! The club president will discuss the answers with the club's executive committee, who will work to implement any necessary changes. Your answers, and the changes that your club may make thereafter, will put you well on the way toward becoming an ideal TM Club! Go to Club Questionnaire
